Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a leading innovation-driven entrepreneurial research university in
engineering science and technology.
It is located both in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia and Johor Bahru,the southern city in Iskandar Malaysia, which is a vibrant economic corridor in the south of Peninsular Malaysia.

The School of Mechanical Engineering (SME) at UTM is preparing to participate in this project.

Energy and environmental science and technology is one of the main research areas at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). UTM has established several research centers such as Centre for Low Carbon Transport in cooperation with Imperial College (LoCARtic) and Ocean Thermal Energy
Centre, as an effort to move towards sustainable development and carbon neutrality through research activities. To produce graduates with
knowledge and skills in energy and environmental science and technology, UTM also offers related Master courses, such as Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Sustainable Engineering, Master of Sustainable Systems and Master of Engineering in
Environmental.
