This course is composed of eight advanced topics and will be given by eight professors from Kyushu University (Japan), Pusan National University (Korea), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China), and University of Technology Malaysia(Malaysia) for two weeks every year.
The overall aim of this course is for students to learn about topical issues as well as fundamental concepts in the fields of energy and
environmental science and technology. This course is specifically aimed at helping students to broaden their horizons and improve their ability to understand and discuss research topics in the fields of energy and environmental science and engineering in an informative, engaging, and
professional manner.
For DD master’s course students, a one-semester overseas dispatch and attendance to two summer schools are mandatory for academic credit
acquisition.

- Fundamentals of Energy and Environmental Science and Engineering Ⅰ&Ⅱ(Class I & II)
: In this course, graduate students will learn basic knowledge in the fields of energy and environmental science and technology.
- Advanced Seminar on Energy and Environmental Science and Engineering (Exercise)
: In this course, graduate students may participate in industry tours and field trips, as well as learn experimental skills in the fields of energy and
environmental science and technology.
- Advanced Seminar on Energy and Environmental Science and Engineering Ⅰ&Ⅱ(Class III & Debate)
: In this course, graduate students will learn advanced knowledge in the fields of energy and environmental science and technology.
-Advanced Seminar on Energy and Environmental Science and Engineering Ⅱ(Seminar)
: In this course, graduate students may participate in industry tours and field trips. In the latter half of this course, the students need to present
their master’s research (or doctoral research if he or she is a doctoral course student).
